Before starting the Digital Art Jam occuring at Paris, the Art Museum Georges Pompidou offered us a guided visit at the cotemporary floor where the artists criticizes the classical rules of art in bizarre works and installations. To truly understand the meaning of such work, you need to understand the artist approach. 

We finally though making what could be a "contemporary game" , that is to say a game that break the common rules and forces the players to thing outside of the box leaving the main window to interact with the game. 

Inspired by games like "The Stanley Parable" or "Doki-Doki: Litterature Club", we conceived "Think Outside Of The Game". We have been working with Godot Engine for the developpement and KORG M01 on 3DS for the sound design.

Durant la Digital Art Jam, nous avons visité le Musée d'Art Georges Pompidou. Les artistes proposent des critiques à travers des oeuvres “étranges” qui brisent les règles classiques de construction d’une oeuvre. Pour vraiment apprécier l'oeuvre, il est nécessaire de comprendre la démarche de l'artiste. Cela nous a fait penser à concevoir un méta-jeu comme “The Stanley parable” ou “Doki-Doki : Litterature Club” qui jouerait avec les règles du jeu vidéo.

L’objectif était donc de faire un “jeu vidéo contemporain” qui ignore les limites des jeux vidéo conventionnels. Ici le joueur sera poussé à sortir de l'application du jeu pour jouer.

Il a été réalisé sur le Godot Engine, un moteur libre de droit, et les musiques ont été composée sur le logiciel KORG M01, sur 3DS.
